<b>1. Go to this site: <a href="http://www.darkmark.com/c.c?l=choosewand&t=O
My wand is 7 inches, inflexible, mahogany, and has a core of unicorn hair. Your wand is good in Arithmacy! You should be very good in that area.
<b>2. What types of memories would you put in the Pensieve? Good? Bad? and why would you choose those?</b>
I would put both good and bad memories in the Pensieve, depending on how bad or good they were. I would put very good memories in so that I could go back and relive them, and very bad memories so that I could try to forget them.
<b>3. How do you feel about the Dark Arts? For? Against? Indifferent?</b>
I think everyone should know the Dark Arts so that they know what's out there and how to defend them. They shouldn't be taught how to do the unforgivables but at least be taught how to resist 2 of them. Personally, I would want to learn every spell I could.
<b>4. Which person from the Harry Potter world do you feel you relate the most to and why?</b>
I feel like I mostly relate to Hermione. I, like her, constantly worry about my grades and studying and am constantly telling my friends (who goof off all the time) to study or else they'll never graduate and get their degree. I constantly worry about not graduation even though I know I will.
<b>5. Which character from Harry Potter is your favorite and why?</b>
Severus Snape is my favorite character mostly because of his loyalty. Even though he is in great danger, he spies for Dumbledore without thought of his own person. I also like his brutal honesty, in that he always says what he means and means what he says. He's also very intelligent, a quality I favor above all others.
<b>6. Which character from Harry Potter is your LEAST favorite and why?</b>
Hagrid is my least favorite character because of his animals. First there's the spider, which gets him expelled and nearly eats Harry and Ron. He also has the illegal dragon which also gets Harry and the gang into trouble when they have to send it off. Hagrid realy doesn't show any concern that his animals might kill his students, and I think that is his downfall.
<b>7. What wizarding job would you like to have?</b>
Like my wand said, I would like to either be an arithmancer or teach arithmancy. It seems the closest subject to math (which is my favorite study and major) and I think I would enjoy it immensly. I intend to do math for the rest of my life anyway so I would of course do this is I were in the wizarding world.
<b>8. As a student at Hogwarts, how would you spend your free time? </b>
I'm sure I would read all the time. I love reading and the feeling I get when I lose myself in a book.
<b>9. Colors tell a lot of people. We ask you to pick a color from <a href="http://www.wired4success.com/colorsymbol
Royalty, spirituality, nobility, spirituality, ceremony, mysterious, transformation, wisdom, enlightenment, cruelty, arrogance, mourning.
<b>10. Name a person, alive, dead or even a character from a movie or book, that you most admire. Why do you admire this person?</b>
I most admire Mrs. Weasley because even though her family is very poor and she has her own children to think of, she continues to care for Harry and treats him like her own son. She never makes him feel that he's not part of the family.
<b>11. If you could own any magical creature, what would it be?</b>
I would own a unicorn because they are so beautiful and graceful, and I'd honestly be afraid to own anything dangerous like Hagrid.
<b>12. In your opinion, what are one or two of your strongest personality traits? (example: outspoken, kind, funny, etc. Pick only up to two)</b>
My strongest personality traits are kindness and honesty. I always try to be kind to others, no matter who they are or how they've treated me in the past. I always try to image how I would feel if someone were unkind to me. I also try to be honest whenever possible. I feel that dishonesty causes a lot of problems nowadays and if we could just be more honest with eachother, everything would be much easier.
<b>13. What is one of your own biggest character flaws? (example: I talk too much, I'm lazy, etc. Pick only one!) </b>
I'm way too shy. It keeps me from meeting people and doing fun things. My shyness will probably keep me from building close relationships with people.
<b>14. What qualities do you value in a friend?</b>
I value honesty, kindness, intelligence, and wit. I want a friend who will be truthful with me and kind to me, and at the same time can hold an intelligent conversation.
<b>15. If you were faced with a boggart (something that takes the shape of something you fear), what shape would it be?</b>
Like Ron, it would be a giant spider. I'm deathly afraid of spiders.
<b>16. If you looked into the Mirror of Erisid, what would you see?</b>
I would see myself holding my degree, all finished up with school and on my own. I have this need to be independent and can't wait until I don't need my parents' help anymore.
<b>17. Which of the Harry Potter books was your favorite and why?</b>
My favorite book was Prisoner of Azkaban because I thought it was so well-written with the time-turners and Peter Pettigrew turning out to be Scabbers. I also liked that the book wasn't focused on Voldemort for once. I liked that we were exposed to others classes too.
<b>18. What is the worst quality you believe that a person can possess?</b>
The worst quality a person can possess is prejudice. There are so many problems caused by prejudice nowadays. It keeps everyone from getting along and keeps people from trusting others of different backgrounds. I think this is the worst problem out today.
<b>19. What house do you feel you belong in and why? (Please note this does not mean we will choose for you to be in that house)</b>
I honestly feel that I belong in Ravenclaw because my intelligence and thirst for knowledge is such a large part of my life. I enjoy studying and reading and even enjoy doing math problems. See, I'm a nerd, so I belong in Ravenclaw.
<b>20. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?</b>
I wish I could be more outgoing. My shyness keeps me from making friends and getting involved in things. It honestly doesn't bother me at all that I'm this way because I like who I am.
<b>21. What character would you choose to be your best friend and why?</b>
I'd probably be best friends with Percy Weasley because he is very intelligent and a stickler for rules. It really bothers me when people break rules. I like that he uses the rules as a means for studying too, like telling everyone to shut up so that he can study.
<b>22. Which class do you think you would do well in? Why?</b>
I think I would do well in arithmancy because I'm so good at math. The first time I heard Hermione mention what went on in that class I was automatically intrigued.
<b>23. Which class do you think you wouldn't do well in and why?</b>
I think I would do horribly in Care of Magical Creatures because I would never touch the creatures. I'd be much too afraid to go near them. Plus, I wouldn't be able to understand what Hagrid was saying the majority of the time.
<b>24. If you were on the Quidditch team what position would you like to play?</b>
I honestly would never want to play Quidditch because I hate sports, but if I have to choose a position I'd choose Keeper so that I could stay out of the spotlight for most of the time (except of course when the other team tried to score). I wouldn't want to move around a lot either for fear of being hit by a bludger.
<b>25. Name a quality from each of the four houses that you possess.</b>
<b>26. How did you hear about us? If it was from someone, please state the journal name, if you saw an ad somewhere, please say where and if you remember also say who placed the ad.</b>
I was searching for a sorting community and came across this one. The user info said it was new and needed knew members so I'm here to help if you want me!
